Local help in Honolulu

Part of Hawaii.Hawaii document routeCare rules in Hawaii

Most of Hawaii's trans-specific services are in Honolulu. Name changes are not filed in court here: they go to the Lieutenant Governor's office at the State Capitol, mostly online and by mail. The Hawaii Health & Harm Reduction Center's Kua'ana Project, a trans peer program, is the main local starting point for help with documents, hormones, and insurance.

Covers: City and County of Honolulu (the island of Oahu)

Draft list from organizations' own websites, 2026-09-24. Call ahead: hours and services change.
